The 2014 Subaru Forester is back again for some work. The air conditioning only works for a short period of time and quits. Another shop was kind enough to change some parts for us, so we know what the problem isn’t. The brakes are worn and the washer fluid leaks as well. Let’s get it all…

Well at lest they got the AC fixed in time for winter (Mr. Obvious)
so you fix real problems I like that thanks for sharing Merry Christmas
Well packed compressor. Thanks for the instructional video. Always spot on. Nice.
wow you made that look easy
You should use your magic hammer on the complete passenger side of it also, from bumper to bumper 😂
when you're good at what you do. And you do it to well XD
Rusty boi!
Wassup
If that’s a 2017, plan on replacing the whole system. Ask me how I know
LOL…to good!
next thing is to replace the 2 passenger side doors
SAFETY GLASSES? Next you’ll be wearing bitch mittens!
Ya gotta love that parts cabin!!!😄
Please repair the body's 😢
I have a question do you have to change the valve stems on the line every time you take the freon out or no
…..NICE HAMMER!😁
I would have vacuumed the system after replacing the compressor, but I guess up north in Illinois it doesn't get that hot to matter.
If the McAllister shop had only loaded up the parts Kevin, we wouldn't have the holiday masterpiece known as Home Alone, today. Merry Christmas Scott. Ya filthy animal. (Because you don't clean the cars). The detail gnome doesn't have a job otherwise.
Ruh Oh!…….
The keyboard commandos are going to get you for dirty hands after you claimed you took it for the obligatory test spin in the parking lot!……
🤣🤣🤣
What kind of guy changes brakes and rotors and hoses , and then suddenly the next day is using complex frame straightening and measuring equipment and welders to repair rollover or t bones cars. That's casual.
Thx for doing this, filming this and sharing this with us. 👍👍👍👍👍
Is the body next?
There is a guy here in Morelia Mexico who looks exactly like you, any chance is you??
Greetings
Thats got to be the worlds most conveniently located compressor
Love seeing these 'smaller' jobs once in a while. Well done as always!
Parts cannon – "Ready! Fire! Aim!"
Glad you didn't encounter any mishaps with that freon or you would have looked like Mr. Freeze's stunt double. Just kidding. Gloves and face protection should always be used when working with the AC system. Just an FYI.
Why do you keep saying that the part stores never give you the right parts. I always get the right parts every time. Well, at least 50% of the time every time 😐
I used to carefully push on the front of the a/c clutch with a screwdriver and many times the clutch would engage. Then it was fixable by removing some shims in the clutch.
Change out the head gaskets while you’re at it
Merry Christmas to you, the gnomes and the pizza girls.
Not much of a previous mechanic if they didn't know how to use a multimeter.
Yer getting soft in yer old age… hardly yelled at anyone!
Nooo! How can you throw all that packaging material on the ground like that? Think of all the shop sea turtles
I have to get me one of these brake job hammers Scott. Merry Christmas from Ireland!
You the man.
Good thing they had it done cheaper somewhere else lmao.
The new compressor wasn't shipped with Fedex because the package was not destroyed, submerged, burnt, flattened or half-eaten…
I thought you had to add oil to new compressors?
You seemed disappointed that you didn't get the face full of freon?!?😅
Great Video scott! If i break down in Lemont i'll hit you up!
How much for the Buick Reatta sitting back there?
Scott, your mid week vids are a bonus. Hope you are able to continue posting these. Thanks…
I just need that hammer for the brake jobs that use stupid screw in calipers. I hate them.
2:45 you must have had a very profitable year, that razor blade looked reasonably sharp!!! Scott's living large now!!
