Paper Mario series was supposed to be a sequel to Super Mario RPG but they changed it to Paper Mario.

Amazing stream Kwings! Just got around to finishing watching this episode and I have found that the game is interesting. I never played the original game but the remake looks like it is fun to play. My favorite Mario game would be Super Mario 64. It was not only the first Mario game that I ever played, but it was also the first video game I ever played. As a result it holds a special place in my heart.
My favorite Mario game so far is Mario Wonder
I never played SMRPG, and honestly the only two Mario games I've beaten (that wasn't sports) are TTYD & Sunshine so The Thousand Year Door is my favorite. If we're including sports, it would be Super Mario Strikers Charged.

OK If I had to think of my favorite mario game our of sports or just 3d or 2d I'd say for mario sports game it's Mario Super sluggers for mario sports game (Along with strikers battle league) My favorite 2d is New super mario bros u Orginal and for 3d Its Super mario 3d World (Meow)😂 Yeah that sums it up for me well can't wait to see more of this later.
you know what Kwing your not the only that thought we could do a pre amptive sneak attack in this maybe it was removed with them adding all the new attack stuff like the combo meter and the special attack meter.

My favorite Mario game is paper mario 64. Me and my mom played it alot and every time we started a new save file we would play all the way to 100% the game. She passed away 10 years ago and in honor of her i play paper mario at least once every year and 100% it. Super mario rpg is a very close second and was so happy when they first announced this remake.
