Holy SHIT! I remember the prototype. The GAME THAT FOREVER made DC not give Superman a REAL CHANCE in Gaming….

Speaking as a non Superman fan (still a DC fan for the most part), after looking at the gameplay mechanics of this game, Shadow of Apokalips, and oddly enough Superman Returns, I do have some idea for a decent Superman game.
the only game that is slightly a superman game. which happen to be a prototype. ouch! I can feel the pain that DC fans like angry Joe is having because DC will never get their shit together. and personally I don't think will ever gonna have another good DC games which is a travesty because I love the Batman games from rock steady and seen it being husk is heartbreaking.
It'd be interesting for you to do a review on BIONICLE heroes since you've made a vid on BIONICLE the game several years ago. DS and Console versions both could warrant their own videos.
I need SuperDan to play this sometime when he is done with his 64 run.

Nice find, Jadow. I remember when you reviewed the original Superman 64 in one of your more classic reviews. The PS1 version is just marginally better, but that’s not saying much.
Superman shouldn't NEED a utility belt or even need to LOOK for stupid keys BECAUSE HE CAN USE HIS SUPER STRENGTH TO SMASH THE FUCKING DOORS

I find funny that they bothered to doodle up some "mission failed screens" for this game and then they just have metallo'sreference sheet pose for the metallo bossfight game over, it makes it look like superman just tripped on the sidewalk and Metallo is just confused at the scene

Jadow after this and suicide squad I think you need a good super hero video game please check out the Incredible Hulk ultimate destruction it’s a hard game but it’s at least fun.

12:24 Actually, they did refer to Lex's condition as cancer in Justice Leauge. They only referred to it as blood poisoning in the scene where he learns he has the cancer.

With all due respect to the folks at Rerez, I can't agree with them when they say "Superman the man of steel is worse than Superman 64" Superman The man of steel is a bad game, but as hard as that game is and how dumb the story is, at least it's possible to beat that game without cheating, Superman 64 is such a glitchy unfinished mess you can't beat it without complete cheating, and even then it's still feels near impossible!

Are you going to review the Batman Doom mod? Or X-men Ravages of apocalypse (Quake mod)?
Bad game or not, credit where credit is due. That health system is basically the Halo health system from H2 onward. So, if this would have made it to market rather than being canned, it may very well have been the first game to use it. Wouldn't that have been a strange world to live in.
Here's one weird thing:
Superman 64 was one of the open world games on N64. It's training level had no boundary except the rings and a single NPC below them, so you can explore their entire version of digital Metropolis without a timer or mission.
