Out of curiosity with the clear hose, are you sucking or blowing? And yes that’s a genuine question.
Is no one asking why there was a ground clamp on the pipe. What was it there for? Why was it disconnected??
We'd "like to see the stub cut back further?!" Say what?!
We never like to see that!
Seeing an old short makes you realize the voices have evolved. Hey Boooyy is calmer and the other one is missing its eeeeeeerrrr.
I was taught to put dope under the tape as well
What is it that you said you use to seal the gap between the pipe and the house? Thanks
Well yeah its close to the qall but you dont need that much apace with press fittings. Ive been in tighter spots with press fittings and it all has ended up fine. Maybe its some weird american conspiracy against press fittings but as a european i can say most new installs use them. Their great. Their faster to install, easier to work with and safer since you have to be pretty fucking stupid to cause harm to yourself with a press and burning a house down with a press takes skill
Oooooooooooh you are soldering wet pipe it’ll never be good connection
Excellent work
ok but what happens when i twist the pipe and its going into a block wall?
Ok but you got to upgrade your Vulkem appl game 😉 😉
The plumber b4 you used that female copper fitting because it's more durable than the brass your putting on the outside boy
Nasty calking job
can Solder Paste Flux when water droping ?
What about Water Hammer? I'm old and I'll outlast YOUR APPLICATION 😊
WHAT HAPPENED TO BEING A TRADESMAN.
The flange on the Hose-Bibb sits flush with the exterior.
I'VE USED BREAD TO STOP THE WATER. 😊
A Non-Professional uses Propress.
Errrrrrr…. Aren’t you gonna paint that polyurethane Volkum to match the stucco?
Hack work
Hmmm attention to detail on handle, then that silicone application🤔
Tape and dope is how i learned on the job with the old heads and in tech school with the young guys.
I use tape only. I am not an OG, but I have been doing this since 1972. Roger who?
Honest question, why tape and dope? (as you call it)
More professionals seem to use both tape and dope together than not, so that's how I've started doing my DIY stuff as well. If it works, it works.
Yeah that sealant looks great pal 😂
"Hey boy whats that striker thing? Back in my day we struck a match with our teeth boy"! Get off my job site! 😂😂😢😅
Dont know how much difference it'd make but maybe pull the pipe out then put the bead of caulk or whatever around the pipe and let it settle back in. Prob would seal it a lil deeper and not need to wipe the crap out of it after.
Light the torch facing the house is sick action
Tape and dope always
What solder do you use?
I love this guys voices lol
When i was an apprentice back in the day i thought pipe dope was glue for the tape
