I think a September reveal makes the most sense, and hoping that's the case as well.

Nintendo fandoms are in shambles from all the wait for Nintendo next console. Heck most Nintendo fans have begun to turn their backs on Nintendo cos how outdated their tech is and how bad their games look. pc handhelds are slowly but surely killing Nintendo market.

This is more of a general statement and the inclusion of "Xbox" proves it. Even at face value, nothing suggests Switch 2 in that statement. Also, let's be realistic…. No manufacturer, who wants to remain the manufacturer, is going to comment on an all new system before its even announced.
Hopefully they get rid of that shitty nintendo app for voice chat and include some built in party chat systems with messeging

I have a feeling this is just referring to the new Echoes of Wisdom model for the Switch Lite.
If Nintendo is going to launch the switch 2 console at least by May, they would have to announce the console by the game awards in December. I don’t see Nintendo announcing it at January because of Pokemon presents.
I am still thinking early next year for a switch 2 announcement from Nintendo. Nintendo is waiting for Sony to announce the Playstation 5 pro first. Nintendo big competition in Japan is Sony. Not Microsoft.
My guess is they’ll announce next Jan ish and release before April. Why would they announce it before the holidays this year if they can’t release it before the holidays? They need the switches sales still. Besides the switch 2 needs a solid Mario game to launch if, and we know they don’t, they don’t have a Zelda title to launch with the console.
With all that said I’m very optimistic about the next switch. I can see GTA V, FF7 remake, metal gear solid 4&5 all come to it the first year.

I’m on board with you where I’m at the point where I just want them to reveal the Switch 2 so we actually have concrete information about and we can stop baseless speculation. I don’t know if this would be in their initial batch of reveal games or even be seen pre-system launch but I’m also itching to see Monolith break free of their curse of being held back by hardware limitations, and I think Xenoblade X Definitive is a likely launch year title, and hopefully in the coming years we’ll get Xenoblade 4 and 2 Definitive Edition ideally all by 2030 if 4 is already in development and they set a 10-year Definitive Edition tradition.
Like, my gut feeling was always 2025 and I’m not seeing the reveal in September. Like, different climate, but Switch revealed in October after TGS. And like I said, different climate- Nintendo’s current console was a massive flop, so they needed a reveal to get hype for their next console ASAP. And they didn’t have big third party support since third party companies would understandably be wary of what Nintendo’s sales would be like moving forward.
I do think they’ll get a reveal this year, but I’m predicting later in the first half of 2025 for release. Have it come out earlier on, but after the fiscal year. I dunno, in my mind, new fiscal year, new console, watch the sales numbers grow from wherever they start on a fresh fiscal year. That makes sense in my mind.
Of course, if we take things more literally, maybe no reveal until January of next year with a May release. Nintendo DID say reveal this fiscal year, which why would they say that if it wasn’t revealing this calendar year? But at this point, I’m just looking at angles I don’t believe will happen.

one thing the universo nintendo article apparently got wrong; weltrend’s fiscal q3 (where they expect mass production) actually starts in july and ends at the end of september. Small difference but yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised to see an announcement in a month or less
The next few months should be very interesting
I’m curious as to what Nintendo will or won’t do but even without a reveal I’m still very excited to play their current lineup
