AI is being sold as the enabler for a new socialist world order.

There's a glut in big tech, but other industries need engineers for a variety of systems. AI can do a lot, probably replace 25% of engineers. But AI could realistically wipe out Lawyers & Nurse Practitioners today if those jobs did not require licenses, certifications & physical human requirements. Case in point only industries protected by Government licenses are safe from AI.

I wonder if we should consider NOT giving so much weight to fictional and spec value. And give more attention actual functionality of anything. 28:34

1:27 no you are not an economist but I would argue that be being a employment lawyer puts you in a place that sees nuanced leading indicators of employment issues from a pattern standpoint
Then economists and media and politicians ect come along and name and consolidate those indicators —-
gettings it mostly wrong because they have to look at an oversimplified version having not been in the trenches so to speak.

So most of what we hear mainstream is the lagging indicators

But I do trust you pay attention and can give me insight as what's going on so I can make decisions. Instead of who's to blame after the damage is done
