  1. Tesla started off in the lofty BMW/Mercedes level as a luxury car just a few years ago
and is now in the Chevy/Toyota discount level as a cheap throw away car you drive to the airport and leave for a week

    way to go Elon…

  2. A realy cant believe all the people out there think ev will save the world but stil 70% of the wolds power still comes from coal and gass.. and India are going to double there coal plants in 10 y times and a ev use 3x more power then a home use a day to charge. Cant believe people cant see that's how match coal do you burn to make 1kw and the co2. from thats. Ev is the biggest marketing bull i have ever see

  3. Today's Teslas are as mind-blowingly cheap as the first smartphones were when the first price reductions happened because Chinese Smartphones started to flood and win the market.

  4. Wait at least until March 2024 – because the prices will drop like crazy since Chinese cars are starting to become more ubiquitously accessible.

Tesla realizes that and now tries to eat as much of the pie as possible…before a new pie is being served and most will belong to China…for the customer's benefit.

  5. According to Q3 results Tesla made about $4000 profit per car, so they can't slash much off the price before profits dry up. Also, you made a video yesterday about how much cheaper EVs will be by 2025 due to falling battery costs, so it makes far more sense to delay buying until then. Plus, they might have solved the lithium battery fire problem by then.

  6. ll good when you are a million air just get by i have been working for 45 years and never cheated anyone also always look after the older people i own an old Toyota Hilux in my 60`s

  7. I am in LA this past week and by my observations, it is difficult to drive more than ten seconds on a busy street and not spot another Tesla (I’m renting from Hertz here in the US). Coming to a three lane traffic light you will always have at least one other Tesla stopped with you. As a stock holder it is really great to see.
I drove over from Texas, which was not easy and we could not see everything we wanted to because we had an electric vehicle mainly while in the Navajo nation where there is a huge void of super chargers in the most beautiful part of the US. Southern Colorado is also devoid of Tesla Super Chargers there and difficult to visit friends in Pagosa springs. We saw only one other Tesla in these areas in two days.
Hertz didn’t have a CCS adapter for us and we only had a J1772 adapter which had us scraping by with 6.8 kilowatts in Durango CO.

Just like Thailand, there seems to be a direct correlation between the number of Superchargers in an area and the number of people willing to drive a Tesla.

  8. I would be so pissed if I had bought a Tesla a few years ago. The depreciation with all these price cuts must be out of this world. People probably thought a Tesla was economically the safest EV but they were dead wrong.

  9. Many wealthy individuals maintain their wealth by adopting frugal spending habits similar to those of the less affluent. They also prioritize continuous investment, whereas some poorer individuals tend to spend extravagantly without focusing on long-term investments, often attempting to impress those who are already wealthy.

  10. If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you…prevent inflation

  11. U.K. media. Tesla has cut the price of its entry-level Model 3 car in Britain in the latest effort to boost demand for its electric vehicles amid growing competition and sluggish sales. The car maker began selling a new version of the Model 3 on Tuesday for £39,990, £3,000 cheaper than the previous cheapest version. Their PCP contracts are interesting, effectively priced the same has Mini but with significantly less mileage, it would account for the Forbes claim that “Tesla Sells 33% Of Vehicles Below Average Cost”.

  12. Meager discounts. Still in absolute sense expensive for an EV. I expect inventory Tesla's to be 30000 euro's or lower incl taxes for the inventory model 3 and Y. I think objective argumentation is going to be difficult to claim when talking about acceptable losses in price cuts. At the end of the the day there is an element of subjectivity in price cuts. For if it was objective it would be preposterous to do price cuts because a company wants return of investment and a decent salary for compensation. A lot of choices we make have subjectivity because there is a want and need. And if we truly look an EV or car in itself is a form of luxury in itself. A more objective or perhaps more logical decision is to invest more in electric public transport and trucks than any EV.

  13. When the model 3+ Highland hits the US streets no one will want the old inventory, if its near the same price. – Tesla is selling the "old" inventory ahead of the new model .
Likewise, they could probably build, & sell 10 new model 3+ with the same resources as a near hand built RHD Model S & ship it overseas to a RHD country. "Same resources" questionable , but you get the general idea.
