  1. Normally when I buy a tablet or computer, I change the operating system or modify it in my own way so that the company that sold it doesn't send it with penalizing updates… that's the same…

  2. Picked up the T2C Carlink Kit & Apple Car Play works great! No mini SIM card needed.
Quick & easy set up when I turned my iPhone into a hotspot since the WiFi in my condo doesn’t extended out to my parking spot.
    Great plug & play.

  3. Wait a second. Are you saying they are locking new base models sold or even the ones that are on the road now and will suddenly lose the front heated seats.

I mean if they did that , take away what I paid for, that is easy lawsuits

  4. Thanks for all your info Robert really appreciate it! I’ve just subscribed to your newsletter as well. Your videos are a fab resource for someone like me looking to buy their first EV ❤ x

  5. hey robert, i messaged you about this on twitter/x but i wanted to add something to your bit about tesla advertising in this video. they recently added the 2023 model 3 performance (not highland) to the video game gran turismo 7 on playstation, even though they famously haven't licensed their cars since the 2012 model s. this was a surprise to me, and the in-game description even mentions project highland despite the model in game not being project highland.

  6. $8K for a factory wrap is 8 times more ignorant than anything I’ve ever heard of. Except, of course, the $12K for the FSD which doesn’t really work and is 4 times overpriced.

I don’t mind spending a premium for things that offer value for my money but neither of the aforementioned are even in the ballpark for most people.

The wrap and FSD just are not worth even 25% of what Tesla is asking for.

And for context, I own a 2023 MY. Love the car but the prices for these add-ons proves someone isn’t in touch with reality.

Having said all that, the first manufacturer that starts charging subscription fees for something I’ve already paid for will see me in court.

  7. It just seems to me that a lot of time is being spent talking about what is a niche product, the Cyber Truck. Tesla should spend more time and effort improving the current model Y and producing the so-called $25,000 Tesla. The model Y is the most popular car in the world and yet still lacks prepium suspension, ventilated seats and extra glass to quiet the ride. In my opinion, that stuff could be added right now, rather than having people wait for the projected Juniper model Y. Ambient lighting- who cares? It will be interesting to see what the sales for the model Y are like in 2024 given the fact that the post Juniper Y will be much superior. I was planning on buying a new model Y this spring, but how fast will this version depreciate when the new one comes out?

  8. Dude is straight qvc at this point talk about greedy like Tesla charging for heated seats save the commercial for idiots that trust YouTubers who poor mouth.

  9. Im sorry, software locking and subscriptions on cars is robbery, are you telling the manufacturer (Tesla, bmw… ) installed hardware in my car for free and will not charge me unless I use it??? Come on!! I understand features that may be fully digital but if they installed hardware I’m sure I already paid for it on the purchase price of the car, otherwise they are leaving money on the table for something they have already supplied, that would be like me selling you a gold and diamonds set of earrings and charging you extra only when you wear the the full set it in public (I am sure you wouldn’t let me take it home unless it was paid for the entire cost of it). This is ridiculous and abusive, we need to put a stop to these people milking the consumer.

  10. Hey Robert thanks for all the info. I subscribed to the newsletter as well. I been doing lots of research and your videos have been helping. I currently don't have a Tesla but I'm looking to get a Model Y at some point next year. Looking forward to your next video.

  11. I find it dishonest for Tesla (or any other company) to remove a feature that was present at the time of purchase without offering an equivalent feature or like compensation.

  12. I just think it's wrong to lock features that are already installed into the car. Many cars already come with heated seats and such but locking them in Tesla(which can already be pricey) may make some think twice before purchasing.

  13. I don't know how you have the ability to see into the future, but dang you're good! Have you heard if any of the other car manufacturers, who will eventually use the Tesla chargers, will be paying to join the Tesla network? Obviously, the Superchargers will need to expand locations and/or add more chargers in current locations. Where is the money coming from for Tesla to do this? Each morning I wake up before I put on my makeup, (NOT REALLY lol) but I do go to YouTube and see if you have uploaded content. It's best to hit the day with knowledge! Thank you so much for all of your hard work and especially the superior and informative content.
