Thanks for an incredible 2023!! And Happy 2024!!
I just wanted to share a quick repair(upgrade?) I have been wanting to do on my 2001 Beaver Patriot Thunder since I bought it. And the other mirror finish is bubbling too.
The chrome on the power Velvac side mirrors is peeling and rather than…

Happy new year! I would have never guessed that I would watch videos about RVs. But here I am. I have used many of your videos to help me with our motor home. Thanks again!!!!
Lol we think to much alike…best repairs are the ones no one sees😂
Great job James and you are correct about what a pain it is to replace a rear view mirror or repair one! I replaced the outer shell of my Velvac mirror for around $100 and ran into almost every issue you described. Camera cable had no slack so i had to remove the spray form insulation on the backside of the cap. If i was billing my time it would have been a very expensive repair!
I like it nice 👍👍
Thanks for the idea. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Looking forward to your videos on 2024. 🙏
James, you way under estimate the value of your vids. This might be an incredibly simple fix/repair, but a solution not everyone has thought of to use for themselves. Not all repairs have to be complicated and difficult to do. Sometimes it's just getting an idea what to do, and how it will turn out. This is one of those, and it's much appreciated!!
As usual James…absolutely brilliant! The big chrome Velvac mirrors on my ‘07 Navigator, have some chrome peeling and marring which drives me nuts. Couldn’t find a place that does plastic chroming so I researched replacements and they run approximately $1K for each mirror, which is expensive. I am going to do what you did. Will it be perfect? No but it will look so much better than peeling and chipped chrome. Thanks so much for sharing this as it will literally save me a couple grand. 👍
fantastic video . . . learned something!
Nice job James, Looks good.
Happy New Year James. To you and your family.
💡Brilliant!!!!!!💡 Practical!!! Effective! 🤓 I Like It! Love your ingenuity and resourcefulness! Another Win James! Nicely Done! 🤔I didn't know about the water + soap method to reposition sticky surfaces! Thanks for the Pro Tip!!!😎~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air Breaks! ::: 🚌🚌🚌
Happy New Year James
Looks great. If it were me, i would have used the text "Beaver" decal on the right mirror and only used the logo on the left (as you did).
Wow, great idea. Looks good!
It's even more noticeable now.
Looks good James i was always told to think outside the box all the best to you and your family Happy New Year in 2024
Looks great to me. Happy New Year James. I hope 2024 treats you well.
Great idea considering alternative. Lucky my wife does possess a cricuit cutter however rv not on her list of ideas. Great job James 👏
I don’t know, I’m thinking a big pair of googlie eyes would have looked great 😂 Bit that did turn out great!
Totally awesome!
Great idea, James! But I still have to remove the clear film from the front before I tackle the mirrors…
