  1. I wish alice would pair up with ttartisans. alice for the software and ttartisans for the hardware experience and chinese manufacturing and access to chinese market.

chinese content creators are super mobile centric, the streets are filled with tiktok performers using low res front facing cameras ripe for an upgrade for something more portable and easy to use…. but where is the front facing selfie bracket… alice is for smart phone content creators or its more for the camera nerds that are feed-up with the establishment?

  2. Honestly, I am probably the most adamant MFT user…I believe it is quite possibly the best system in the world. When you hand it to someone that understands its purpose and limitations, you end up with an amazing result! And the fact you using the GH5s sensor…hands down one of the best sensors ever made!

  3. Thanks to all! Vishal's feed had a bit more wild sound compared to the others–is that a by-product of the Alice system or an ISP (in this case Internet Service Provider) or other transmission-related issue? That said, he presented has case very well–an excellent explanation of what they're all about. As I prefer an EVF and physical UI (as opposed to a primarily touchscreen interface–I hate using a phone for imaging/video), I'm not too keen on getting an Alice any time soon (although it may have some potential for travel, such a system will never replace a "proper" camera like my G9), but It certainly represents a significant potential improvement over a smartphone. It would be great if the "traditional" MFT camera mfrs would apply more of the computational features of the Alice (and smartphones) to up their game. MFT is certainly a large enough sensor to achieve "IQ" well beyond the limits of human visual perception. There is absolutely no logical reason to go larger, except for very specialized applications. Tech such as that employed by Alice will more than close the gap.
