Ah yea real easy to buy a few houses when they cost 2x what you make in a year vs 8-10x what the avg American makes in a year now. 11% interest on an 80k home is pennies compared to 9% on a 500-700k home.
I wish we had more options here in Canada when it comes to big cities with opportunities and affordable living. I was looking into moving far outside the city but what Iād save on rent Iād pay as much or more on gas getting to and from work.

Unless you have a job that requires you to be in a specific location (and this job is a career path, not retail work or other bullshit) then you have no reason to continue living in your city.
