i think problem with these are there's no UWB like airtag so if you really lost it you're probably relying on the weak sound or last seen location

Hm, quite sure people dont even keep their trackers more than three years (new products,.new software, new phone etc). Therefore, a life span of about this time is ok, especially if it's cheap..

IMO the biggest problem with wallet trackers is that most wallets are RFID blocking which can significantly reduce the range of the tracker. I like what ridge did where they made the money clip double as an AirTag holder
