  1. its because the music that this game can be played blindfolded, it can also keep your timing perfect for most of the game, and if you get lost, just follow the music and try again, IT LOOPS

  2. I've been asking all the Video Game Music Theory channels about this but could you cover the music behind Team Fight Tactic's Set 10, Remix Rumble? The devs go into it a little bit but every game essentially live mixes 12 different genres across 3 layers depending on player choices and it somehow always works, and I really want to understand why.

  3. This game's soundtrack is a masterpiece. The remake's rearrangements are also superb, but I'm really glad you can swap between it and the original on the fly.
I know most people know her for the Kingdom Hearts soundtracks, but I will always consider Super Mario RPG and Legend of Mana to be Shimomura's finest works.

  4. I might need a rewatch or two in order to get all the details. I tend to start headbanging to Fight Against Smithy.

Fight Against Smithy Who Likes Transforming sounds like scary surfer rock to me, what with that rad bass.

  5. I enjoy listening to video game music but if you gave me a sheet of music I couldn't read it to save my life but your explanations and reasons have given me a new perspective and more reasons to enjoy the gaming music I do

  6. I am having an ok time with the New Mario RPG Switch Remake/Remaster but I had to know if there are any other good battle songs. I get it, the music in the first few stages are fantastic, but its starting to annoy me a bit. Its a great catchy beat, but it never ends and is incredibly loud. I mean, there couldn't add a simple volume slider adjustments in the settings? And, before anyone wants to be a wise ass and say to lower my volume, well you're not helping anyone except yourself trying to be a comedian. I think Nintendo could easily add a simple update to the games setting menu for a simple music volume adjustment, so I can enjoy all of the other incredible sound effects without lowering my volume. With 2.7K upvotes, and only 11 downvotes on this video, I have a feeling I'm not going to feel very welcome here. there has got to be one of you out there who loves the music, while at the same time can understand where i'm coming from. Again, the game is fantastic, and there is no question about it, I'm going to play this game in it's entirety. heck, maybe even another run if there is a hard mode that unlocks. anyways, great video 8-bit music theory. i thought there was only 1 battle song, but it looks like i've got a lot more to play until i get to the other songs later in the game, which helped me out a lot. thank you. i just wanted to add one more thing. thank god that the devs kept the older original 8 bit music, so i can at least change back and forth between the 2 variations of each song, which will help immensely to the experience
