based on this studio's progression from UG gettysburg, to civil war, to admiral, to Revolution, I would expect the next iteration to be something like the Napoleonic Wars. Revolution will lay out the basics and fundamentals and then they'll be improved and expanded on in the "sequel" like we saw with gettysburg and civil war

they need to improve the battle maps in terms of terrain and heights, the maps lack hills, valleys and interesting natural terrain that represent the campaign map.. i assume this is being worked on as those kind of terrain features have been an important feature of battles in their previous games

This period of history doesn't interest me so much but I am REALLY excited for the modding potential of this engine. I hope they release modding tools and open the Steam Workshop without too much delay. 🙂
