Something that not too many people are talking about – I think the camera design is creating confusion. It resembles cameras historically known for their photographic features. It sacrifices a lot of those features to be what it is, a short-form video camera (Thats an strange design decision). In contrast, Sony has carefully ensured that the ZV-E twins visually stands out as targeting a different market, with a defocus button, a utilitarian grip pattern, and placing the smart shoe on the left side of the camera, better for those tiny on-camera mics. Its unique from all the other camera in their lineup. The S9 look like is impersonating a photo camera in many ways. I sure it was intentional on Panasonic parts, it's just weird. Overall, I think people will get over it, and I hope the S9 succeeds. I want to try one.
Eventually this camera will get a price drop to around $150 off in a few months all LUMIX cameras get that price drop.

Record limit is a deal breaker unless you buy it for Photo first then video or live streaming. I am definitely going to start investing in Sony ecosystem
