Its not a deign flaw its a design feature like apple does make something easy to brake so people have to send it in for repair and rise more money out of you.

Excellent suggestion to Sony to move the ribbon cable, except…… putting it behind the wifi antenna will mess up wifi. You need that to be away from the ribbon cable to make sure there is no shielding and interference. I am sure that Sony engineers can think about it for 3 minutes, come up with an excellent solution and spend the next 7 months in meetings with every department in Sony to get the change approved.
