  1. A SHALLOW-MINDED approach to drug use will take us nowhere… people use drugs because of break-up of family unit ????….any large scale STUDY showing this (not just a random survey that might be biased)????…we take drugs because if their effect on our brains, they're EXCITING….RELIGION HAS NO PLACE IN DRUG USE CONTROL.

  2. The drugs Mahmoud is describing is not Muguka, and Muguka/Miraa is not a stepping stone to those drugs… It's better for Coastal leaders to focus on the real issue instead of using Muguka as the escape goat…… All these issues Mahmoud is mentioning have nothing to do with Muguka

  3. How come it ONLY affects pwani people negatively and no one else? Is their DNA weak? Hence why any drug or substance they do affects them harshly? Watu wa pwani ata wakimeza panadol inafanya wakuwe high 😂

  4. Everyone across the country knows the negativity socio-medical effects of miraa and Muguka in particular, but since the beneficiaries are the political class, they choose to bury their heads in the sand until it reaches their door steps just like the fentanyl pandemic in the US

  5. Sir,you’re fighting for the innocent youths that cheap drugs are destroying in Mombasa kindly involve the locals to help weed out bang peddlers of Magongo,Mikindani,Kisauni.police commanders in these locations be transferred because they are directly or indirectly involved with drug smuggling or else it’s not going to be easy. All the best and God be with you

  6. Thanks Mr Noor for impacting mombasa youths positively, the efforts and mentorship gives hope for future generations.
You and your team keep on doing the good work, future realys on youth, God bless you .

  7. I really feel bad when most of us know where the rain started beating us but we tend to like beating about the bush in fear of i don't know what, the problem if i may be asked,i would blame the government policy, during our old days,we wouldnt allowed to do shit things in school, because the teachers were very much strict on issues despline, come to the community, any elder was allowed to descpline anywhere you happen to misbehave, coming to our home was a no go zone for the misbehaving,in short we had no place to run, since the government gave the children much freedom and my dress my choice thing, thats where the problem began.

  8. Very well put, I hope all of us, including the govt can appreciate the negative impact of this substance, including miraa and other off-shelf psychotropic products. Let's curtail from both the supply and demand sides.
