I respect buying physical media, but for the switch specifically, the save file is still always completely digital, so yes, you have the cartridge but just the cartridge alone will never hold any data, so unless you’re a person who plays a game, delete, repeat, and you like, really need the space back, there’s really no need to buy physical for switch specifically.

i'm sad, i was in japan for a week and the nintendo kyoto store opening was a day after we left 🥲🥲🥲 this new store is A LOT bigger and has a lot of cute stuff as compared to the tokyo one.

The perception that 10 out of 10 means exactly perfect needs to stop.

1 of 10 – 1-10%
2 of 10 – 11-20%
3 of 10 – 21-30%
4 of 10 – 31-40%
5 of 10 – 41-50%
6 of 10 – 51-60%
7 of 10 – 61-70%
8 of 10 – 71-80%
9 of 10 – 81-90%
Therefore 10 out of 10 has to be 91-100%

You could argue that 10 out of 10 literally means 100% but that would mean you would be dividing 9 to make the other 99% of scores, which in turn means each point if you tried to convert to 100% which systems like Metacritic stupidly do, means you couldn't have a score below 10%.

Sure some systems don't use percentages, nor do they use fractional values (like 9.5) but its also very clear from most reviews in the industry that 10 hasn't meant perfect since for a very long time when review website's were even sillier with their language than they are now.

Regardless of the math, it completely fails to appreciate human subjectivity when it comes to art, and converting a feeling to a score is already dumb as it is.

If I was going to give Wonder a score I'd definitely give it a 10, but is it perfect, no, because its literally impossible to actually define something as perfect anyway.

So funny enough about the wii u sale, Just out of curiosity, I called nintendo asking if they still sell 3ds systems as sales were reported for the console for the year. However upon speaking to a Nintendo representative, she told me that those figures are based on the amount of Nintendo accounts that have been activated on systems in that time period. So Any new user even if the console is used, can cause that number to go up, by making a new account on the console. Sadly none were available for sale though. No more NIB DSs these days 🙁
