  1. So 😢sad to see 🇺🇸GoPro get their ass kicked by 🇨🇳DJI… And as a consumer who has purchased at least 7 GoPro cameras over the last 10 years, I have abandoned the brand due to their lack of innovation, unreliable products and annoying customer service experience. GoPro12 was a total flop and it showed the company’s complacency and total disconnect from their consumer base. This video is spot-on and a lesson for other tech companies who think they have it all figured out

  2. The owner still became a billionaire. Why does he need to hang on to a mini action camera company? The face is anyone who wants to own a GoPro already does. The market is now saturated with minicams and smartphones. Gopro can return if they become acquired by Apple

  3. In the past when the word action camera comes to mind, people would associate it with GoPro . That was how strong was the brand .

It is not surprising GoPro continue to struggle because of stiff competition and Gopro did not further innovate and evolve their products .

  4. without knowing any deteails, once I heard the knews that the karma drones are falling from the sky, I knew it is over for gorpo, had the 3, now enjoying 360 cams from insta360

  5. GoPro sucks, do they even listen to their customers? Its VERY simple. People don't care about gimmicks, they only want 1 thing you had a decade to do and failed – crystal clear LOW LIGHT footage with EIS on. Stop with the gimmicks!

  6. I think alot of us got burned by the Hero 9, either literally through overheating or metaphorically through the not actually waterproof, waterproof enclosure. Honestly I which I bought an iPhone with apple care as they are in my experience more water resistant than GoPro's! And at least with AppleCare they will actually do something when it goes wrong…

  7. He keeps saying "we" didn't have the right approach, we didn't have the right skillset…..why do so much blame sharing when you were responsible for all those?

  8. I believe GoPro failed when it went public. It no longer served a niche market excellently, but now required year over year growth to satisfy investors. This is simply not how GoPro started and I would argue there are many businesses/product catagories that simply shoot themselves in the foot by going public as a result of a conflict of interests.

Also, GoPro's initial value of +80$ was not necessarily representative of truth. I personally do not believe their value "dropped" but rather there was a "price correction"

  9. I've tried DJI camera products and they aren't even close to GoPro's image quality. It's actually shocking how bad DJI cameras are.
