  1. VERY strong first episode guys! Fantastic new format and show. I love that you guys are in a place that you can now do more shows and I love the choices you've been going for so far.

  2. Dude, if a good Monster Hunger could be made on the PSP, it should have been able to handle a good translation of Oblivion. Even it it was trimmed to fit the hardware.

  3. They should have ported TES III Morrowind instead. TES IV Oblivion could have come to next gen (PS Vita) – both are amazing games.

    A 1:1 old-gen game port would be a lot better than a half-assed new-gen game port.

  4. I'm not an Elder Scrolls fan, but I can say that this is a shame. I'm sure fans would have dug this game.

I first heard about this title from Blameitonjorge's "Top 40 Lost or Cancelled Video Games" video. This probably would have made top bucks.

  5. That PSP version looks really good. Keep in mind we're talking about something that has less power than the PS2, which was weaker than the original Xbox, a system that ran Morrowind, the Elder Scrolls title before Oblivion.

  6. Man! I would have LOVED a PSP port of Oblivion. I spent so many hours playing the XB360 version of Oblivion and tons of time on my PSP. Shame to both hear about the release of this game and the cancellation of this game all in a 20 minute stint. Oh, what could have been!!!

  7. I would have loved a game like this on the Vita. The two sticks would have been perfect for it.

And I hope there are more of these to come. Really interesting and great work.

  8. Of all the content y'all produce, this series of videos (what went wrong/true story of, etc) have quickly become my favorite. It's everything I loved about Memory Cards (RIP memory cards 😢) distilled into a long form deep dive into one particular incident instead of simply listing multiple unrelated gaming facts. It also really let's the team showcase their journalistic ability. I really hope this continues.

  9. Sorry, but as Oblivion had been eclipsed by Skyrim in the public consciousness, and that was ten years ago, with everything Bethesda has done since getting a…. mixed… reception, (and I never owned a PSP) it is hard to understand the fuss about Oblivion being on handheld. But, as you said, "one of the best games of all time"
