We are no longer in a world where the OG Dell OptiPlex can cut it, with the 2nd and 3rd gen Intel CPU’s. That is why we are using a full sized Lenovo Think Station that has a 6th gen Intel CPU and can easily be upgraded with a GTX 1060! For only $150 total it is so easy and great bang for…

  1. Not bad for a old workstation PC It is a shame that particular Xeon CPU dose not support quad channel RAM, but upgrading to 64GB of EDO RAM is cheaper than non EDO RAM. Frankly though with their age, and lack of Windows 11 support I'd just stick with a used RX580 ($50-$70 in the wild) so next year when Win 10 becomes EOL you can just turn it into a Steam Machine with Bazzite.

  2. Very cool budget option, better than older optiplexes for sure but unfortunately doesn't have a lot of life left in it either. Windows 11 not supported until the p330s and above. Solid video as always though!

  3. getting sick of the titles. "Gaming PC". i think at this level an igpu from a current Ryzen would out perform this. If you are not at 60fps 1080p high settings on 95% of AAA games, its not a "Gaming PC". If anyone reads this and wants to build a budget Gaming PC. Use at least: CPU Intel 9th gen no i3 or Ryzen 5000 series Ryzen 5 or up. GPU 2070S or 5700xt and up. minimum of 16gb ddr4 but for the future def 32gb and always in duel channel. for office budget, the only real one right now is a Dell Precision 3630 or Optiplex 5060 for extreme budget. For GPU, rx6600m from ali express or 5700xt or used 3060 from ebay. this would play all AAA titles at good FPS 1080p.

  4. idk how it happened i trusted one of your employees suggestions when it came to saving a couple bucks on a build, and the next thing i know i'm binge watching your videos. like as soon as i got my pc i was somehow hooked on your videos

  5. sadly i have a pc with i5-7500,intergrated graphics, 16 gb DDr4, and 256gb ssd. make sense why i cant upgrade to windows 11

edit: i forgot to mention that i have a windows 10 pro. this is one of the reasons why i cant upgrade to windows 11

hey, i wanna build a desktop buy i m a complete novice. my budget is R25k (rands) or $1364 and yes this budget must include mouse, keyboard and monitor. if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

  7. I've said it before, i'll say it again….. Do these guys just think ALL PC PLAYERS only play
    The Finals
    Fortnite
    CoD
    Halo????
I mean, you build a PC for £150 or you build a PC for £1,000 and those are the only games you test.
Why test games, that people could play and run WELL on a Series S bundle, with a controller, and one month Game Pass, for £280 and then add a KB&M for another £50.
PC gaming is AMAZING with so many more games than what you show, BUT! A lot of the games on PC, are more demanding than these builds can deliver.
You NEED too show these budget builds, then say explain they wouldn't come anywhere too running games like ARMA3 ARMA R, EFT, BF2042, Arena Breakout, the new Delta Force….. And those are STILL among the most popular shooters on PC.
