  1. For this to work we’d need vertical window decorations in apps or a switch screen button in the window decorations. This shouldn’t be too difficult to achieve for all apps under Linux, but I wonder how could it be done on Windows…

  2. Damn looks great and its priced reasonably… going to guess its using the new ultraportable Intel chipset with its iGPU… but still for this price point and the quality of the hardware and screens looking great!

  3. cool and minimal that you don't need additional accessories like a stand or keyboard etc… the only question is the durability of the screen. I think you need to put some screen protector of some sort to lessen or avoid the scratches. Hope they can offer in the market for a reasonable price…

  4. Yup, I'm buying this. Bye bye Macbook Air M2, I will miss your battery life but COME ON, 2 Oled screens, i9, 32GB of ram, 1TB, horizontal and vertical use and integrated kickstand, COME OOOON

  5. Next year I hope we'll have an evolution of the zenbook fold 17 from last year (which was more a concept than a finished product), which offer more possibilities with the full panel (with no cut with the flexible screen)

  6. It needs an invisible hinge area between the screens, like dual screen Androids. These notebooks will go in that direction also for PC:s. Might take a few years though.

  7. Great video Dave, yes, I agree with all of your comments and this almost had me switching from a MacBook Pro. All I would recommend a manufacturer do, I make it sound so simple, is improve the screen in terms of NITS so that it becomesan absolute no brainer for Video editors. I'm serious, if the graphics some scream were better, I'd switch tomorrow and I'm an apple fanboy. Actually, just gone to the website and the maximum hard drive. It's one terabyte, for creatives, that's a dealbreaker.

  8. Things I would change:
    1. There needs to be a standardized app for magazines, textbooks, and comic books because it actually fits the size of those form factors.
    2. Make the keyboard see-through – And add UI that compliments the bottom screen and keyboard. (If this can become common, it would revolutionize gaming. Every key is the any key and can show any image for gaming options.

  9. You wouldn't believe how long I've looked for an office laptop last month. No choice was satisfying enough, all boring form factors. I was looking for a convertible that I could use a pen on its screen. And ASUS made good 2in1 models in the past, like the ROG Flow X16 and the old Zenbook Duo's. And the dual screen YOGA was cool but it'd require me to do a ritual that involved doing origami so I could deploy its mighty two screens in a productivity layout. And all of those machines cost a lot. This one is the dream for me. It fits the $1500 budget, it has a ton of versatility, and if Core Ultra is worth its salt, it will be capable and it can have a decent battery life too. And it's something I could use a pen to do drawings on, which is not sold seperately.

I agree with Dave about this being the future standard form factor for laptops. 28" of screen real estate that's as compact as other 14" laptops, no funky folding OLEDs that could fail over bending a lot of times, it's carriable, it rekindles creativity and productivity, it's the most versatile thing. And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg like the other decent 2in1 laptops. I can't wait for this to hit the shelves and I only plan to switch from it when the same form factor comes with the Snapdragon X Elite or other ARM chips.

  10. I have the Lenovo one and I think they did it way better. It's also a lot thinner than this and you can just use 8 finger gesture to bring up the keyboard and mouse. And I like that the real keyboard is smaller and the screen under it becomes a track pad. And the track pad works great. You definitely don't wanna write papers on the virtual keyboards but it's fine to just leave comments or search stuff. I love it tho, best laptop I ever had. Only thing I like better about the zenbook is the price
