Does the SuperGrafx have the same issue as the PC Engine where the color palette in RGB is different from the intended composite color palette, and does this component mod address that issue?

I’m quite aware of the system I have one. I also have the super CD rom 2 (although now I just use SSDS3 + Genesis HD Retrovision cable)
ESR testers are really valuable for capacitor analysis, apart from rated capacity, the virtual resistance of the electrolyte as it breaks-down over time, is the primary other critical factor (aside from retained capacitance)to know if it's actually capable of smoothing things. Granted, these were a given that they should be cycled.

i better comparison would have been the FDS disc system versus the super graphx considering the snes equivalent here is the normal pc engine, fds i guess sold 4.4 million units
