  1. My favorite find was a pair of vintage Luchese boots, they were a beautiful cherry color made in Texas. They sold for a few hundred bills. My girlfriend gave me a box of vintage Sassy and Seventeen magazines from the late 80s/early 90s. They've been selling like crazy on average for $25 a piece. I sold a pair of vintage Doc Martens that I bought in the mid 90s. They went for $300. It was a good year…hopefully this coming one is successful for everyone in the reselling community. It's been slow since Christmas so far.

  4. Great video! My favorite find and sale of 2023 is a Pioneer Woman Red Check Rolling Pin that had been on my bucket list. I paid $1.50 at a thrift store and sold for $150.00. I still have not found a Glassy Baby, but will still keep looking. The thrill of the find is real and fun. I also found 2 Game Boy Yu Gi Oh Dark Stories sealed games with cards in the box. A graded one sold for $3400 and non graded can go for $500 to $1500. That is my down payment for a new eBay storage building. I have not listed yet as I think I am going to get them graded. They still had the Target Clearance Stickers from 2004 and I paid $5.00 each at a small thrift store.

  7. 1. Huge DVD/blu-ray haul. Lots of horror and eclectic stuff. $350 > $3000-$5000. As good as that was still missed a lot. In hindsight I wish I had made an offer for everything.

    2. Harley & Vanson leather jacket lot. $250 > $1500. Best of the lot was a Vanson "Bones" jacket ($650). I initially thought there were two in the photo but one was off brand. I try to not be at sales more than 15 min early to avoid being the rude garage sale guy but was scoping that one for over an hour…

    3. Grateful Dead CD lot w/ vintage tee. This was about 2 hours into a busy estate sale since I didn't want to fight the crowds. Very lucky that this stuff was totally ignored. $45 > $700.

    4. Winged Warrior Leonardo in a lot of action figures. $.25 >$340. I thought I knew my TMNT but didn't recognize that one. Had been wanting to find some good TMNT stuff for years.

    5. Robeson manufactured WWII era M3 trench knife. In bad shape and took an offer of $225. In good shape these can go for $2000+.

    6. Sealed Captain N VHS tape ($80), sealed Thundercats book light ($60) and a Jets double script Sports Specialties hat ($150) at one estate sale. Cool nostalgic finds – probably should've priced the Captain N and Thundercats higher since stuff like this can only be found once.

  8. My best find was a huge box of old cameras for $25. Had 2 vintage Rollieflex cameras in it. Sold one for $1400 and the other for $1000. Tons of other high end cameras and lenses in the box too.

  9. My best find was a 1960's East German spy camera. The thrift store priced it at a few bucks. Would have passed on it but it was in a vintage quality leather case. Sold $275 but probably could have held out for double that.

  10. Found a Taylor Swift Beautiful Eyes Cd +Dvd Wal-Mart Exclusive at Goodwill in near mint condition for .88 cents, sold it for $175. Also found a Xbox 360 Red Octane Explorer wire guitar for $2 and sold that for $99.

At a estate sale got a box of jewelry for 40.00 went through it found 17.5 oz of scrap silver, and 8.2 oz of a mixture of 14k and 18k gold scrap. Along with 100's of vintage costume jewelry piece's from the 1930's-1970's have made over 10,000.00 so far but still have more to sell.
At a garage sale value is not much but found the game of rock'em and sock'em robots in original box in very good condition for a dollar. It's going into my toy collection.

  13. 1. I found 18K gold and diamond earrings in a box of goodwill junk jewelry. I don't really sell a lot of high value stuff, just sparkly shiny things I like to pick up. 2. Found a nice Lalique trinket dish for $5.99 at a thrift store. 3. Picked up a vintage Italian wedding cake bead necklace and earrings jewelry set at a garage sale for $10. As an honorable mention, I bought an antique Jewish Passover English transferware plate for $10 at a garage sale yesterday that goes on eBay between $100 – $500.

  14. I found Fire King Mugs at a garage sale right after watching your video. I couldn't believe it. Probably my favorite find was a Spode China Plate, Imperial Plate of Persia. I never pick up stuff like that, but it was beautiful and $7.99 at Goodwill in it's original box. I sold that for $650. And that was the day I became a reseller. Those days really stick with you.
