Run a cf 19 , mk4 ssd drive duel boot , win 10 and 7 , 2 differant nav programms , maxsea and cpn , usb gps , no need for cell reception , ireal if you sail more than 6 miles offshere , I am looking to get a cf 31 , more ports ,
i still use my cf-31 and cf-d1 on my boat now good toughbooks love them
I got a used GETAC f110 tablet, dual battery with gps, Windows 10 off of eBay for $210. Works great so far. I use navonics plus a couple other apps for sailing. The apps run on an Android OS so I had to download an Android emulator to run the apps. One other thing to keep in mind. The tablets or removable screens are thick. A regular tablet mount might not work. The arms that hold on to the tablet don't protrude out far enough. On my tablet the battery cover protrudes out a little adding to the overall thickness.
