  1. maybe i'm completely off base here and have no idea what im talking about but why did you not inject voltage and looked for a hotspot with a thermal camera? would that not have most likely told you which component/chip is faulty? also regarding the chips you were trying to salvage off those boards the 070 you probably have to get a donor board for but the 069 i was able to find online for pretty cheap… I've never personally fixed a ps5 but just curious, love the channel.

actually after reflecting on it I guess the reason you don't buy just 1 chip is because you constantly need spare components so buying the donor boards ends up being cheaper, if that's the case it makes perfect sense. I suppose that is the main reason you got this ps5 slim anyway.

  2. Hey Joey love your content, I have a couple Xbox ones that don't work, I actually bought them off eBay inspired by your videos but I just don't have the time for them, I'd be happy for you to have them for free if you'd like Todo a video on them? I've not done anything with them literally got them delivered a few months ago and just not got around to even having a look at them, not even tried to power them up so you may get lucky haha I don't even have power leads for them hence not even tried to power them up.

  3. "If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary." Great work, Joey! Great content with newer versions of these consoles, not many of them being torn down on YouTube so kudos for the attempt on camera 🙂

  4. I was left wondering the whole episode why the original owner didn't use the warranty. I know why Joey didn't because he is a lunatic but the original owner puzzles me.

  5. To be honest, a bit disappointed. You could’ve easily send this to warranty and make a profit, could’ve gotten some other repairable item and keep the streak going… I guess for science… but wouldn’t have been my choice

  6. But it’s not really a loss though as you can sell it as spares ( like you said in the video ) or you’ll keep it to fix another one. It’s a win win. Not a loss ….

  7. Joey I love ya but the constant playstation/switch fixes is getting a bit dull. Maybe take a book out of Steve fix's channel and do an episode a week of a random electronic?

  8. I absolutely love watching your videos as I always learn something and they're very entertaining, but please look into doing consoles other than PS5's, it seems to mostly be PS5's…. Respect you Joey!

  9. I would rather see if Sony can do it under warranty. Also it would be better for future buyer to get console with manufacture warranty still valid.

  10. Hi joey i have 2 ps5s that are faulty if you are interested in trying to fix will do them at a better price than you usually pay on ebay if you want them can o have a way to contact you to make a deal on them

  11. Why didn't the seller just send back to sony and get a free repair ?, don't make sense selling for half what they paid

I know wouldn't make a decent video but feel u should of just sent back yaself then guarantee to make a profit joey
