Not fair, you’re comparing a prime to a zoom. The Fuji has so much focus breathing that could be considered a zoom lens. 🙂
Wonderful shots! I have to say that I'm a sucker for those square hoods like the one on this TT Artisan lens!
In short the TT Artisan is a direct comparison to the Fuji 35 XC, same price (the fuji is a bit pricier new but around the same price used), slower to focus, focus distance is twice as much, you get a little bit more light at f 1.8 but less sharp until f 5.6 and heavier…
And if you want a nice build, an aperture ring and/or WR, you can go to fuji 35 XF for more money.
I personally wouldn't recommend the TT Artisan just for a nicer look, build and a third of a stop…

The shape of the Fujifilm XF 35mm is more advantageous for those that use the X-Pro series and like the live view feature. The tapered diameter makes for less intrusion into the frame lines at the lower right corner.

Thank you. I’m glad that TTartisan are now doing AF lenses. But it would be the Fuji XC 35mm if I had to choose at that price.
