300 nits in 2023 is an insult
I have to say the thinkpad series has stood the test of time. Maintained the same old look but also manages to look modern as well. For context I used to have an X61 and X201 before going for other laptops (Surface pro, asus zenbook) then came back to using thinkpad again. Currently using X13 Gen 1 AMD and still going strong. Have to admit thinkpads really lives up to being called rock solid
I tought it was the new Asus X13, do you plan to test it?
I recently got my 1st ThinkPad an X1 Nano 1 gen one. They may be business focused but my is a home PC. great sound and display. It's so easy to remove the bottom that I bought a second SSD to try out different Linux distros w/o distrubing my Windows setup. If you get a ThinkPad checkout the Lenovo Pro Vantage, it's useful for bios updates and controlling features. I'm now a ThinkPad fan.
Oh no, still no word on the Z13 Gen 2. 🙁
I'd love to know how you feel about reducing fan noise (i.e. i7 1360p) via windows 11 advanced power settings.
This is an okay pc. Camera was okay and mics were good. Speakers sounded okay although there was some distortion in parts of the sound track you played. Display is good. Nice to have the option for 4g or 5g. Excellent review as always.
Its like the Intel version of the Z13. In which case would prefer to get the Z13.
What about latest t14 laptops?

I dont know why Lenovo is shipping 41w batteries at all. Battery life use to be a staple of Thinkpad. Why solder the ram if you aren’t adding bigger batteries and shorten the key travel . At least add a better trackpad. Great review just a little disappointed. Seems like the x series only gets intel cpu upgrades.
