I transferred some parts from an HP Omen 30L into a custom PC. I re-used the RAM, CPU, and Hard drives so i did put those on my list.

Should have just sold the old pc and bought new ram, and new cpu.
you didnt upgrade an omen you used the CPU in a new PC?? lol
I have a 30L and with no modifications the CPU is a bottleneck. if anything you should have upgraded the CPU before anything.
If I can't buy all new upgrades at once, what do you recommend I start with?

Hey cool video, will windows load off of the original SSD? I have done some research that says it will and then as long as your online the new motherboard drivers can be loaded. Thanks for the confirmation.

Hey man very helpful; I was about to upgrade my old 970 (which has 1×6 pins and 1×8 pins) to a rx 6700 (that has only 1 x8 pins) Do I just plug the one that was on the 970 and leave the 6pins just hanging ? Or I need to plug in via another cable from the psu that has only 1×8 pins (sry it's my 1st Time upgrading)
