As someone who has been in IT for decades, I would suggest setting all locks the same (auto lock). People tend to get confused, and there is nothing as bad as being away from home trying to remember if the door was set to lock or not. Besides, with the fingerprint reader and passcode it’s not like you need to carry your keys around.
But cant it have bluetooth from the phone as well?
Will this fit newer apartment buildings in Norway? In the market for a lock.

But is that just a single latch bolt holding it shut? I don't have a fancy electronic lock, but when I lock my door with the key, there are two additional latches way above and below, pulling the door tightly to the frame.
Having a backup for your finger print is a good thing. I am always uncomfortable with an access code you can't change. If your fingerprint is cloned somehow you can't change it.

I have this door lock, but with an RFID reader. I am very satisfied and the installation was very easy. I've often thought about the Yale door lock and whenever I read user feedback, I've given up. Same problems year after year. The locks stop working when the warranty is over. Customer problems are not answered, it is recommended to buy a new lock, etc. Problematic topics were deleted from the Facebook page. If it is the only entrance, sometimes the only option left is to break down the door. Why doesn't Yale add a physical key?!
I rent my house, is it easily reversible or do I have to drill into the door?
