  1. And do you really believe that the person who sent it knew these signs were garbage? Isn't there a chance that the person won't know? In my opinion you shouldn't charge for the quote, in my opinion this is part of the risk of your business.

  2. Wow! ASUS has really gone down in quality. They charge a damn fortune for these cards and yet they're using cardboard to make the boards! That's just pathetic. I learned a lot watching. Thanks!

  3. NorthridgeFix to answer your question – buyers. They wanted overpriced Nvidia 4090 cards with massive heatsinks, well they got it.

Instead not support nvidia and NOT buying those cards. I have no remorse for those who didnt get cards refunded. You learned lesson hard way.

  4. 4090 reminds me of big heavy computers from the 50s where obscene amounts of electricity were required to power them and they ocupied an entire room.
Too big too heavy too power hungry

  5. WOEW!!!!! (Roughly} $38,000.00 worth of video cards ready for the landfill. Only good for spare parts for what, MORE broken 4090's? Some type of mechanical support is definitely needed. Feel sorry for this customer, that's an expensive mistake sending all those at once, he should've sent 'one' to Alex first. They apparently don't understand that these boards are multi layer and almost impossible to repair. Even if you did they'd just break again. There is NO way of making a lasting fix here unless you could acquire brand new unpopulated boards and transferred all the components over to them. There again, NOT feasible. 🤦‍♂

  6. Just wondering, are these "no fix" because it wont be possible to actually repair the traces? or because once they're repaired, its just not possible to be able to install these video cards because there is no way of strengthening the board again?
