  1. I've had my copy of Star Ocean 2 since middle school (2000 or 2001). It has some pretty deep scratches. I tried the old toothpaste trick that was popular on the internet back then… didn't help it. Later i used some fine sandpaper and believe it or not, it still runs today. It looks rough and sometimes you have to do a disc swap for fmvs, but it is workable after enough tries.

  2. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Ive cleaned out my pc before, dusting it, blowing it out only for it to not work when i turned it back on. I had one of those HUGE 60" rear projection tvs and it had a protective screen on it. I took it off to clean the screen and dropped the protective screen and cracked it..I was going off so badly I woke my wife up who was in the bedroom way down the hall and i was in my mancave about 45ft away lol..

My favorite repair story was fixing up a monitor from a ms pac man arcade machine. I worked as an arcade tech from 2005 to around 2014. Started off a hired muscle, cleaning and moving the machines from location to location. Picked up bits here and there. Eventually got to a point to where it was just the main tech and me so I started doing a lot of repair work too. He got fired around 2009 or 2010 and then it was just me. I remember we had a ms pac that was going to be sold, but the monitor was very dim and looked washed out. I had never done any monitor work, high voltage… horrific warnings of being electrocuted to death. I put in a new flyback and replaced all the caps on the monitor chassis and ran a tube rejuvenator on the CRT. It actually came out looking VERY nice! That chassis board was super fragile. Traces were wanting to lift, so I had to be crazy careful. Felt like doing open heart surgery. I was kinda sad after that that we sold it.

My "gone wrong" story was my attempts are recapping a game gear. I tried, and failed TWICE. They were badly corroded to begin with, so chances are I didn't fail so much as the board was just gone. But two different attempts of an hour long repair session (with that awful fish smelling leaked capacitor goo stinky up the place) and NEITHER worked after. I still don't know if I have it in me to try a 3rd time.

  4. They never say "Legendia" in the game, so there isn't really an official pronunciation, unless Namco has said it at some point.

Also, I bought the strategy guide for that game from you guys some time back.

  5. My favorite part of these videos are the thrifting parts and seeing how much profit you can make by showing/telling sold listings. Including the parts of actually selling are good too because it shows the values are real. If all this stuff was on this channel or another doesn't matter; I'd still watch them.
