Actually incorrect. There are plenty of parts in Iphone that still lock the phone if its not a genuine apple part. Meaning you haft to spoof it. So iphone there is not as good and is less repairable. Hence why there has been a load of lawsuits against them. Why they were forced to use USB C. You just need to go to rosmans youtube. He used to be the biggest repair guy on YouTube but now it fighting for repair ability and customer rights. You can put any 3rd party part in an samsung it will not brick your phone just give you a warning its not a genuine part.

When it comes to after market parts there is alot more for samsung. Plus they are cheaper. I want to replace my screen for my iPhone 11 and it'll cost me 150£ from apple 180 from 3rd party repair with apple official screen. My Note same release year will cost me 95£ from Samsung or 65 to do it myself.

My Iphone 11 has if I sell it 180£ worth. Trade in 220£. I've looked at getting the S25 and I'll be able to get 35% off any trade in with any Samsung including and after my note. The cost of selling it alone is lower at 120£
