  2. wow, a 747 in 1970 cost $21 million and with the use of an inflation calculator in todays day that would be $170 million. but a new 747 today cost $420 million. somethings not right!?? i was born around this time in Chicago and my old man still around was building skyscrapers in Chicago as an iron worker.

  3. Never knew this existed. But it seems like (or I assume it is meant to be) a response to GM’s “The Bug and The Beetle”, which was a highly jingoistic propaganda smear campaign against foreign automakers, while glossing over the domestic automakers’ own deficiencies.
