I have a couple tip for you.
1. You can tp from the pal box too, you dont need a tp absolutely.
3. DO NOT run out of stamina in the water. (You’ll die)
4. Don’t repair your armors all the time, they’re more used to deal with temperature and they work even when broken.
5. You can delete your pals abilities and switch them with others. The other abilities are fruits in blue trees.
6. Each pals have different task that they can do. (The hand is crafting, the leaf is collecting and stacking in chests, fire do fire tasks, water do water tasks etc.

overlaps with other objects indicates it's overlapping with YOU. if you rotate the palbox it is much easier to place, but the space it requires is to ensure you have adequate space to teleport back.

Bet you're not the best at guessing, huh? "it will not return a good amount" it literally gives you back EVERYTHING you used to create anything.
I have the best area to build… unraidable. Go to -81, 194 on the map. To find coordinates look at bottom left of map. You want to be middle right and just south of the snow biome. You’re welcome. Flattest most open part of the map ever to exist.

actually you can teleport from and to your palbox
you can see in the paldex which work they re able to fullfill
If you use your partypal inside the base and throw the ball to the workbench, they start to work there.

Omg FARKET PLAYS PALWORLD
I ended up building on a beach that had a good amount of flat area, ended up being fairly satisfied with it; it's near a teleport, has resources that spawn within the base, and I built a defensive wall to where it funnels the raid enemies to one spot by the ocean (sometimes they end up swimming away lol). Also, if you lose a pal or it gets stuck, just use the palbox to remove them from base then put them back in; it teleports them back nice and easy.
Do a Rust video there are plenty of RP

It's a really good idea to have a base in an area with a large amount of ore deposits, other wise you might end up having to mine ore yourself, like some kind of Pal-less loser.

The blue hologram when placing your palbox is the area the Pals will spawn when loading the area or loading them to the base from the Palbox. It drops them within that area to help prevent pals from spawing in a wonky area.

You need to read the tool tips and fill the Pal food basket.
I moved to the southwest starting area, and built near the waterfall in the archipelago. I have yet to get raided in my chosen spot. My old spot got raided by level 31 Fangirls and my poor level 11 babies were completely wiped out 😅😢.
