Bro I just did this and took the entire back off first. Your telling me it was that easy to take apart. Baaaahaahahahahaha. After I took it apart gave it a good power wash though get rid of the mold build up!!!!

I just tossed my 6 month old Maytag. about 4 months ago.
In 6 months, the drive motor died, the drain pump died, the drive motor died again, and then the control panel died.
Only the drive motor was covered under warranty.
I bought a cheap ass whirlpool, and its been running fine, despite Maytag trying to pin the blame for the constant failures on my home electrical set up (which was inspected by three different electricians, because they wouldnt accept the first two inspections)

In short top loaders are crap.
These are way better washers than the crap they make now, washed my clothes better, used more water just better all the way around, wish I could find a washer like this now!!!!!
You just saved thousands of people u told amounts of service calls and cash. Could you also do one on dryers? I would estimate 90% of dryer service calls involve belts or the heating element. Both are easy fix’s!
