  1. I'm a software engineer and have worked at various companies for over 2 decades.
    The following are my opinions:

Opinion 1: Generalizing all programmers to be perfectionists is ignorant. All programmers have different levels of tolerance for their quality of work. To declare a blanket statement such as "All programmers are perfectionists" come off as uninformed and heavily ignorant.

Opinion 2: In my 25+ years of experience in software engineering, there are bugs that still go under the radar, and have done so for decades. Saying every single mistake no matter how small will be caught contradicts my extensive experience as a programmer.

Opinion 3: "If you've got the wrong programming language, a space breaks things." This is wrong in that it applies only to a select portion of languages. Lisp, Algol, Pascal, C etc. etc. were delimited by BEGIN..END or by bracket characters. Not to mention minifiable languages like HTML and JavaScript.

Opinion 4: "Nothing but perfection will do." Hard disagree. A lot of programs out there a completely substandard and very slow. It's often very hard to achieve complete perfection. I've worked in companies that have millions of lines of code and I can assure you that it would take centuries to completely and utterly optimize every single line of code until it was 100% perfect.
