As a long time small engine technician all you can do is smile and agree with them. But when I take fuel out of their machine I put it in a clear container with a couple of photographs and it usually convinces them that they need to quit storing their gas can outdoors. I had a customer some years ago that used to leave his gas can under the eve of his house right on the drip line. And when I produced a clear container from my truck and poured the contents into it what did I find? if you said water you guessed correctly. And he still asked if the repair was going to be under warranty🤣🤣
