Wow! 8K Resolution Insta360 Ace Pro compared to GoPro

Wow! 8K Resolution Insta360 Ace Pro compared to GoPro Hero 12, DJI Action 4

#Wow #Resolution #Insta360 #Ace #Pro #compared #GoPro

“CAPTAIN DRONE”

The Insta360 Ace Pro can record high quality video in 8K resolution to a maximum of 24 FPS. How does this compare to the GoPro Hero 12 and DJI Action 4? All footage is straight out of each camera (no additional processing used). The winner of the IMAGE quality is easily the Insta360 Ace Pro….

  1. News from Insta360: Announcing Insta360's Free Lens Repair for Ace / Ace Pro

Hi all, as you may know, Insta360 just launched the brand-new action cameras Ace and Ace Pro, designed with pre-installed Lens Guards to prevent dust, moisture, and other substances from entering the lens and provide better protection for the lens. With the way these are designed, they aren't replaceable.

The good news is that Insta360 is offering free maintenance for damaged Lens Guards within the first year of purchase for users. You only have to cover shipping. If you do find your lens gets damaged or scratched, get in touch and we'll organize a replacement free of charge. Thanks, and we hope you enjoy using Ace!

  2. I have an 8K TV so I will be getting the ace pro to enjoy 8K aerial and ground shots in their full glory. Thanks for actually uploading in 8K would love to see more 8K sample footage

  3. i purchased an action 4 a little too soon , wish i knew this camera was going to be released a couple months later……….This ace pro looks better on so many areas ……………. But anyway in my now biased justifications on owning an osmo action4 …………………… 1.i only have a 4k tv, ( i know i know there are other 8k benefits like the clarity zoom ) 2. All video including night vision is good enough for me as i only use as a helmet cam on a motorbike ( LED headlight gives plenty of night vision help) 3. osmo action4 has the right amount of functions for most users to not get lost in endless fine tuning settings to use spontaneously. 4. removable lense cover for (a) damage replacement and (b) night vision lense flare deduction . 5. slightly better battery life and adventure pack combo brings a bit more value per spec towards the dji. ……………………….ill leave my sour grapes right there and see what the next camera brings in 2 years time when im looking to renew.

IMO The ace pro is more a step over towards a different type of camera for video making rather than just an action camera as the 90 degree viewing / recording following ground level stuff is cool but not my intended use.

Hope DJI get a fright and hurry up some improvements via firmware and also add some cool features to the app similar to the ai post video thingymabob as i do like that and would look cool on motorbikes and bicycles use to cut into some of my videos.

And another curveball is i prefer the saturated colour profile of the gopro12 in daylight but i could grade my dlog-m profile to suit if i were serious about creating masterpeices rather than just use it as a helmet cam for my own protection

  4. Great review, and the Insta360 looks good! I'd suggest the stabilization test might be a bit unfair to the DJI and GoPro cameras, as the Insta360 was mounted in the middle, therefore moved less? If the Insta360 was mounted at one of the ends, it probably would have performed worse than in the middle. Regardless the Insta360 is a cool piece of kit and I want one!!!

  5. The 8K is absolutely not suited for action BUT excellent when using the Ace Pro as a standard camera (youtube camera or presentations). It also means that the 2x zoom is not a 4K cropped and resized again to 4K but it is a real 4K area from the sensor. The GoPro has the best stabilization eve at 5.3MP (compared to all in 4K) and lets you reframe without losing real 4K. Nevertheless the GoPro is only good for daylight moments. The Ace Pro has the most detail and low light performance and having the flip screen, pause, etc etc it's overall the best camera! I ordered one and will try it in the next days.

  6. Hello I just subscribed your channel :))) Thank you very much for nice shots and good energy. My Autum Garden is in full bloom and we're excited to share it with you as we take you on a virtual tour of flower garden! @angelgardenvlog

I hope you enjoy the videos and please feel free to share them with your friends.

  7. Of the three cameras, in my opinion, the insta 360 is winner. All are limited because of the sensor size and stabilization can only do so much. Thanks for the very interesting review as usual. 👍👍😀

  8. Wow. This was the video I was looking for to see if their 8K feature was a gimmick or actually useful. Those zoom in tests you did shows the 8K is definitely not a gimmick. My only critique is the 8K footage, still looked slightly 'watercolor' when zoomed in heaps. The gopro, obviously not sharper when zoomed, but it had the most natural look. Also, the colors and dynamic range on the Insta360 are better in my opinion.

  9. This is my first video that I’ve watch of you. After a while I didn’t care about the camera because I was more interested in how you were able to shoot each camera shot with the same dialogue and expressions; even down to your laughter.

So are you one of the first A.I. models or just a great actor? Being for real, great job! I don’t know how many takes it took you to make it this well but your skill level is very high!

  10. I could not really tell the difference between any of them other than the angle of the shots. Then again I'm not well versed in video nor photography which may explain why I am completely satisfied with my DJI Mini 2.

  11. Looks like you don’t like DJI 🤣 that’s a good thing … you’re pointing what’s wrong with it .. specially with their marketing … I am about to get new camera now and really like the idea of Ace Pro. Good video

  12. Steve, again you've proven this Insta360 Ace Pro is superior to DJI Action camera as well as the GoPro 12. It would be interesting if you have a survey/vote to see what the public thinks. If the DJI had a promotion, $150 (U.S. dollars) off their $400 price, making it $250. And, knocking the price of the GoPro 12 down to $250. You'd find out if the users want an inexpensive camera or pay for better quality images!

  13. Although the incamera image stablization at 8K on the Ace Pro may only as good as the highest resolutions incamera stabilization of the other two at their highest resolutions, wouldn't post processing of the 8K videogive you as good, if not much better than the best incamera stabilization in any of the cameras?

  14. Personally, 24 fps is only suitable in the cinemas. On computer displays it always results in stuttering (youtube). Don't mind 8k, just 24 fps. But some still persist with 24 fps for reasons I can't understand. Wish the screen was possible to take off. Good job though.
