I respect that they were trying to do what overwatch failed at which was progressing it’s story and lore concord just doesn’t have the interesting characters and world to do that.

cutscenes used to be cool because they were a significant step up in graphics so it was fascinating to watch…but now games look better in gameplay than those cutscenes we used to love like the old tekken openings and final fantasy, so it really shouldn't be necessary unless its so extremely important it needs to take us out of the experience….every jrpg fan is giving me evil eyes right now.
If I wanted to watch a movie video game, I would play any of the Metal Gear Solids or any of the Quantic Dream's titles.
Paid will fail, then f2p, then shutdown.
