From another IT profesional. MOST all of these fixes are a joke. The only one mentioned that is actually kind of useful is the frequency changing but that's a bandaid NOT A FIX, you are changing the quality of the sound across everything you will be listening too…… step 1… you say just to reinstall the top driver with no mention there are going to be many different drivers there for different setups… doing this is going to install the Micrsoft listed driver and not necessarily the driver tuned by the manafucterer. And both steps talking about changing your power is a REAL joke. that is not going to do anything but make your system either run in eco mode or performance mode which affects the whole computer and not just the sound card… the last one.. changing your CPU power threshold… really.. that was a reach. all you are doing is screwing with the laptop ability to save power when its sitting idling… This video really annoyed me because its clearly a time waster to get view time.
picking the power saver fixed it for me i dont know why but thanks
Thank you it fixed it for me after all the steps

Yep, the last one worked for me, thanks
Im new to pcs i just got mine and its been terrible i get crackling audio that makes my screen lag and skip and eventually it makes my pc restart, no blue screen it just restarts.
didnt fix the issue but thanks for these many ideas. i found that reducing audio volume from maximum to 75% fixed the issue even though that isnt ideal. do you think a browser based sound equalizer can improve audio quality? if so, please recommend one. Also if desktop based software for sound equalizer is recommended, please suggest the best software for that. thanks in advance.
Tysm this worked so my moms laptop is now fixed ty
I'm trying to fix my moms laptop because well
2:02 mine has another check box called "signal enhancer". I unchecked it and it fixed the issue

SALAM FROM SAUDI ARABIA
I was going to have to return my device to the distribute and back-up and delete my data just for this small detail that I never knew could be the issue … I though the speakers caught sand or something inside it I sprayed it didn't do a thing.
These free advices will get you to wealth my friend

Wow, the 3rd option worked for me. I was like wtf happened to my laptop. It was fuzzy/static all of a sudden. Thank you so much for your awesome help! ❤️
It doesn't have any power plan except balanced. Also it doesn't let me change the Default Format for my speakers properties in mmsys.cpl. I think it sounds better after messing with all of this, but not perfect. I appreciate the help. I have the Surface Pro 8.
Thank you very much for this information. It did not fix my problem but I do appreciate your efforts.
thank you sound much improved
Tnx brh
1:36 this was my issue. i had this strange audio crackle while playing games. Specifically Cod. while loading into the game or matches i would get crackles while the game lagged (hardware not internet) both booting up the game and getting into matches. it was mainly to other audio sources (not the main game audio, it was the voice chat or spotify youtube etc. and seemed to sync up with the games drops in fps while loading) this led me to believe it was my cpu or other hardware reaching 100% and windows giving the game priority over other audio processing. i have a HiRes DAC and i guess at some point messed with the bits and hertz. i had it set to 32 bit, 384000 Hz and it wasnt until i dropped it to 32 bit, 192000 Hz that the crackle stopped.
Why i cant choose that studio quality?
The problem is related to audio hardware. I switched from aux to usb output and audio was running fine
