My 2013 Ram Megacab came stock with a 31 gallon fuel tank. When pulling my 40 foot gooseneck I could get down to 4MPG at times and getting into smaller fuel stations with a 40′ trailer isn’t ideal so let’s upgrade to a 52 gallon aftermarket tank to try and reduce our fuel stops when on the road…

    I love that truck. Thatโ€™s the exact truck I want.
    If you really want fuel mileage to get better, get a custom tune. You donโ€™t need to remove the EGR or the DPF but you can turn them off and lengthen the life of your truck. They should be able to put in the new tank size in too.

  3. My Old 1982 Kenworth Cabover that I used to drive back in the 1990's had Twin 300 gallon tanks on it .Uses to cost me close to $600 bucks each fill up back then when diesel was $0.92 a gallon .Couldn't imagine what it would cost these days
