Those aren't beakers, they're flasks! More specifically Florence flasks, the earlier ones were Erlenmeyer.

On one hand this is very cool, but on the other, I do t like Lego making more and more specialized molds for everything. It's starting to feel a bit like Cobi at this point
New to hard potter lego… If I am going to be jumping on with this wave of builds… are there any from the previous that I should invest in so everything is to scale? for instance… diagon alley, is it too early still to tell just exactly what is worth purchasing from previous releases?

When I started getting into Lego again in my adulthood, I made a rule for myself only to buy sets within the same theme which I chose to be Star Wars… but man, these two most recent waves are really tempting me.
Her name is Pansy Parkinson, not Penny, and she came in the Slytherin house banner but it wasn’t her earlier appearances.

Looks like they made a unique Voldemort wand mold, that will be great to see that in white down the line
Does the Hufflepuff Common room even have the barrels that you have to knock on to enter?
I think the troll scene should’ve been its own set, and substitute it with the kitchen, because that’s actually under the Great Hall and is close to the Hufflepuff Common Room.
Great review of the sets and I agree with you but those midsized DA sets although very cute are not as good as the full sized DA set. I do really like the exterior of the great hall but do not like the smaller interior. Love the ship but prefer the earlier carriage. Definitely getting the classroom as it seems I am talking myself out of the others 😂. Wondering what that other set is?
That witch at Diagonally is actually Jedi Bob's sister.
It seems they inverted the Griffin and the Cobra statues in the HP advent calendar for the Griffindor / Slitherin tokens.
Not a huge HP fan persay, but these sets have generic potential (and they seem to be a great collection.

I think they made the fence in the front of the great hall is way to tall for the proportions of the rest of the set.
the ship looks amazing! next year: the main tower with movable stairs and dumbledore'office. and I think it will be time for a knock turn alley.
I’m glad they remade the troll, but I wish that scene would have been released in its own smaller set, like the original from 2001. I do miss the “Hogwarts expansion” system from 2021-23.

WOW, that aragog spider looks epik and bit pricey for 2 bits of the set but well designed
