I'm a big fan of Kiki and bought the special edition on blu-ray and I enjoy delivery games so I was hoping to get a cool game that feels similar to the anime. I'm disappointed that it's so empty, boring and repetitive. Just 4 hours aswell is really not what I was hoping for. Maybe I'll buy it when it's cheaper.
Takes some nerve to complain about repetition and have the same section of the review repeat twice in a row
Ghibli-inspired games may be a subgenre by itself.
This review is as repetitive as the gameplay they're complaining about
Definitely not worth 20 dollars.
Sounds interesting but I'll probably wait for a sale and it a update.
Kiki's Delivery service finally gets a video game adaptation.
This style has nothing to do with the art of Studio Ghibli
Thanks for the review Alex🙋
It just seems like a lack lustre game, especially when you think with Harry Potter you can fly anywhere!
I've been looking forward to this one and it's a shame that they miss the mark.
Too bad. They could've added lots of collectibles everywhere, then you can trade them or craft them for something else..so exploration can also be a bit interesting.
They could've added lots more NPCs and give them some personality and a bit of story..
Even a simple combat can do wonders..like a witch in training could maybe know how to cast a small fire spell.. then eventually you can learn more spells…then make it so that you can use new spells in order to traverse new location a la metroidvania.
Idk but that might take a lot more time that the devs didn't have :<
It's a shame the flying is so limited, I think the world is GORGEOUS…
I'd happily play a version of Pilot Wings in that enviroment
Bit of a near miss, but I can see myself picking this up at some point
