Apple used to be like Samsung with colorful options but now Samsung is more colorful with its online limited color options. Apple just became very Grey and boring. Where's all that Steve Job's colorful personality in your techs? Now it's just same shape, same color, boring limited, locked platform that doesn't free the mind.
Samsung looks more iPhonish than the iPhone itself
Samsung is getting closer to the quality of iPhone but I just can’t go with that knowing how much better of an experience iPhones are. The smoothness of videos the snappiness when taking pictures, it never stutters when opening my and closing apps like Samsung. If iPhone didn’t exist I would definitely get a Samsung!
I started with android years ago because iPhone wasn’t on Verizon at the time. They finally sold models for Verizon and I switch. For a few years I’d go back and forth between Apple and android and never really could make a decision. Then I just kept buying the newest iPhone, from the 6 all the way up to 14 pro max. I’ve been tempted to try another android out for a bit but just don’t know if I could make the switch. I’m not invested into the Apple ecosystem I only have the iPhone. But I’m used to it. But Apple keeps underwhelming me with their releases, so much so that I didn’t get the 15 pro max and chose to keep my 14 pro max. It just wasn’t worth “upgrading”
Those scores are insignificant, daily perfomance is what matters and you don't see the difference.
Geek bench slightly better on one, in 3D mark it goes other way around. Nobody really uses the peek perfomance, maybe some image processing takes more power but thats it.
Don't compare bench,arks because they are very inaccurate unless you are comparing the same OS. The s24 ultra performs much better 6 the 15 pm, even the s23 ultra does. Antutu sides with android and geekbench sides with apple.
based on your extensive review. which model do you suggest for someone coming from an S21U ? S24U or iPhone 15 pro max ?

As far as convenience, being able to just place my Iphone on a magnetic charger in my car, and have it stick there and charge, is a huge plus. Same thing at night. I can just easily place the magsafe charger without worrying about placement and have it charge. I was a Samsung user for a long time, and I don't think I can give that simplicity up.

I always hope that Samsung will turn to a cooler tone and better low light pictures/video like apple. Not a fan of the yellow tint. Always had a Samsung but maybe want to try Apple because of this. But Samsung has much more options to make the phone your own. Its hard this time 🙂

S23 ultra user here. I've loved this phone since I got it. But EVERYONE in my family uses iphone. Unfortunately I may switch just for conformity reasons.
There is literally no reason to get a pro max.. Just a bunch of digital zooming.. The 15 pro is much better and feels perfect in your hand.. You can literally hold a 15 pro in your hand all day every day. S24 is the opposite of that. If you shoot film then nothing is better than the 15 pro with apple log. Nothing else comes even remotely close. That’s why all professionals are looking at the 15 pro and pro max. It has the film making industry in an uproar right now and they are building all types of rigs for it now. Combine that with the Blackmagic app and now you have some professional standard stuff going on.
The 4x more scratch resistant isn't compared to previous gen but to "the competition" and they won't say who or what that was lol. They specifically refused to answer how much better it was than the previous gen Gorilla glass.

Just found this channel. Why does he wear sun glasses in all his videos? In regards to the comparison I just wish Samsung would stop looking to google/android and just fork android. They bastardize it so much anyway why wait until after google is done before releasing it on their own stuff months later? They do their own payment system, app store, bixby instead of google assistant. At what point are they just using google for the base of their product? I have a pixel 8 pro. I hated Samsung's phones because of all the insane crapware they load it with. Its no longer android its Samsung galaxy in every aspect.
