  1. During the edit, I realized that I left out so many important points, like the sound design which I’ve only briefly touched on, or how I choose my music and what I try to look out for. I hope this wasn’t something everyone was hoping would be covered in more detail. 🫣

The video is already much longer than I think it should be, but maybe that’s another learning, probably should have split this one up 😵‍💫

  2. Thank you so much for posting this! Fascinating to see behind the scenes of a channel I’ve admired for a long time now.

Oh and can 100% advise trying thumbs/titles first as an experiment before writing a script. You might be surprised.

  3. You're my favorite creator I started following in 2023. This kind of deep dive, is inspirational on a relatable down to earth level which I can greatly appreciate. Keep up the great work! I'll be here to watch em all 🙂

  4. Been here since your meshlicious video and I hope to keep watching your content for years to come. Really appreciate the time and work you put into your videos as I enjoy the shots and the quality as well as just hearing your general opinion on whatever it is that you're talking about. I hope you keep doing what you enjoy!

  5. I would make it more exciting with music, this won't affect your voice if you use instrumentals. Think mrwhostheboss
Also the titles can be a bit boring. The monitor light one for example you put do you need one instead I would go with why you need one or why you dont need it

Look at the analogue pocket video, you said just buy it already a definite statement telling me to do something. Okay that worked so then when looking at the description i see its a competitor to nintendo and a review of it so ill click

  6. Thanks for sharing this!
I'm personally in the process of preparing for starting my own YT channel soon-ish.
This solely to share my passions for DIY hobby projects, solely for those interested.

I've started with learning about my tools and creating a process.
I've written a very janky but for now good enough script that lets me synchronise different perspectives and an extra sound track of videos, in a way I can import in my video editor in one go.
Currently I'm frequently just experimenting with the editor, learning it's tricks and figuring out project and render settings that work well (including uncommon aspect ratios).

The editor I am using being Kdenlive, which is a janky mess but one I get along with well, unlike OpenShot which I used before.
My cameras are old cameras from over a decade ago and decommissioned phones, I'm still in the process of experimenting and sorting out which cameras give the best footage.
It's a fun journey for which I am taking my time now so I can hopefully share what I'm passionate about with relatively little friction.

Along with that, I also intend to build a blogging site down the line, as I feel that that is valuable for sharing information on an easier to find platform.
I also see it as a fun project to build such a site from scratch, this process I can share in the videos too.

  7. Man, you've had my endless love and respect for years, not just for the top notch quality and humor but also because you're the only crazy bastard on YouTube willing to work with a Sigma FP. A Komodo's for weaklings. Keep it up Cheese, YouTube needs you.
